Bite–Size Plays
A unique way of enjoying theatre in ten–minute bite–size treats. We seek out and showcase the
best examples from many thousands of plays from all around the world.
We receive hundreds of scripts through our contacts as well as holding our own international competition.
Plays are read, evaluated – some are performed in public read–through events and festival
shows where we seek feedback from professional writers and the general public.
This year we were awarded the Brighton Festival Angel Award for artistic excellence, based on public votes.
Our Edinburgh show is the resident show at the New World Festival Hub, the new media centre that is
the new home of the world’s festivals, based at the daddy of them all – Edinburgh.

In Action
This year’s inaugural Bite–Size International Ten–Minute Playwriting Competition
saw 400 entries from Canada, Greece, England, Ireland, Scotland, Luxembourg, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore!:
We can offer 3 exciting possibilities for people who value the expressive and creative aspects of great theatre.
- Exciting public PERFORMANCE - theatres, festivals.
- Unique HOSPITALITY events – dinners, parties, conferences. We can create an evening in a
beautiful setting with exquisite food, hosting and theatre served up in a delicious mix.
- CORPORATE communication, team–building and development – we can include the application
of theatrical methods – improvisation, play–making, experiential activities –
to make more powerful and sustainable connections with important strategies and values –
and facilitate change in the way people think, feel and behave
